What we have been doing this week....

The Outsider's essay - all students completed (or mostly completed) their essay related to the novel. Please have your student share their work with you.

I-Cubed
Please talk to your student about what invention or innovation they have come up with for their I-Cubed project. Students are currently in the process of building, and designing logos and slogans for their product. Next week we will work on advertising techniques, presentation skills, putting together their tri-folds and colour theory (to make their tri-folds look amazing).

I-Cubed blogging - Please have the following sections completed by Tuesday:

Problem Solving Process
1.      What was the problem that you identified?
2    What information did you gather about possible causes?
3.     What solutions did your group suggest based on the cause?
4.     What criteria did you set so the solution was able to meet the problem?


Design Process
Besides answering the following questions, you could also include diagrams/sketches/mock-ups of your design(s)
1.      Summarize the different ideas that you had for each solution
a.     What were the strengths of each design?
b.     What were the weaknesses?
2.     How did your group decide on the Final Solution that you picked?
a.     Explain why you  have choses that solution
3.     What are they features of your final design?
4.     What materials are you using for each of the parts of your design?

5.     What tools/skills do you need to build your project?
