A codex is a series of drawings that pass
on information about the life and times of a particular society.
Your assignment: recreate an authentic Aztec codex and write a report on it so that future
sociologists don’t misinterpret it.
Your codex should include information about:

forms of Aztec education
lRemember that the codex was a way
of passing on information, not a form of art.
Keep your drawings realistic so that they pass on information to others.
lYour written report should include
information about where your codex was found (be creative) and then also
information about what is happening in each picture.
