The major task they are working on currently is to represent
a day in the life of a person in the middle ages. You can choose to be a
character from the feudal system (a King, Lord, Noble, Knight, peasant, serf,
shopkeeper, merchant, woman) or the Church (the Pope, Bishop, Archbishop, Cardinal,
Priest, or Nun, Parishioner).
Choices are to
represent a day in the life of one of those characters through a a journal
entry.
The task must include specific
details about:
-
what
they did on a regular day/ day to day activities
-
what power they held (show your understanding of the Feudal system)
- what daily roles and responsibilities (duties) (connect to the Feudal system)
-
what they ate
-
how they dressed
-
relationships with others and offer points of view
(how others in the feudal system see them, treat them , etc.)
-
where they lived
-
their beliefs and values (connect to the elements of worldview)

Total grams dissolved in 10 mL of water
Salt - 3 g, 2 g, 1.1 g, 2.5 g
Sugar - 3 g, 4 g,
1. Find the average mass of salt that can be dissolved in 10 mL of water. Find the average mass of sugar that can be dissolved in 10 mL of water.
2. Express the solubility of salt in 100 mL of water. Express the solubility of sugar in 100 mL of water.
3. How do the solubilities of salt and sugar in water ( calculated in #3) compare to the table below?
4. Can you suggest reasons why our lab results differed from those in the table?
Salt 35.7 g/100 mL of water
Sugar 179.2 g/100 mL of water
